More Details

Absolute is a professional-grade acid-based cleaner built for the contamination ordinary cleaners leave behind. It attacks brake dust, rust, hard-water stains, mineral deposits, and oxidation on aluminum wheels, tanks, trailers, stainless steel, and other neglected metal surfaces.

For most applications, wet the surface, apply Absolute, allow it to work for 30–60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly. Heavy oxidation may require light agitation. Absolute can also be used as Step 1 in Bling Chemicals' two-step touchless wash system with Savage.

FAQs

How is Absolute different from other wheel and metal cleaners?

Absolute is a professional-strength cleaner formulated to break down stubborn brake dust, rust staining, hard-water deposits, oxidation, and other mineral buildup on compatible surfaces.

Its fast-acting formula is designed to reduce the heavy scrubbing and repeated applications often required for difficult cleaning jobs. Results can vary depending on the surface and severity of the buildup, so always follow the product directions and test a small area first.

Is Absolute safe for raw, polished, or Alcoa aluminum wheels?

Absolute is intended for compatible non-raw metal finishes, including many alloy, chrome, and stainless-steel surfaces.

Do not use Absolute on raw or highly polished aluminum without first confirming compatibility and testing a small, inconspicuous area. Alcoa wheels are available in different finishes, so consult the wheel manufacturer’s care instructions before application.

How much Absolute do I need per vehicle?

The amount required depends on the size of the vehicle or equipment, the area being cleaned, and the severity of the buildup.

Smaller bottles are convenient for wheels and occasional maintenance. Gallon, 5-gallon, and 55-gallon sizes are better suited for frequent use, larger trucks and equipment, fleet maintenance, and professional detailing.

Will Absolute damage paint or clear coat?

Absolute can be used on compatible painted and clear-coated wheel surfaces when applied according to the product directions.

Pre-wet surrounding surfaces, avoid applying the product to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight, and never allow it to dry. Rinse thoroughly after use and test an inconspicuous area first whenever the finish or coating is uncertain.

Can Absolute be used as part of a complete vehicle wash?

Yes. Absolute can be used as the first step in a touchless two-step wash process.

Apply Absolute to help break down brake dust, oxidation, mineral deposits, and other stubborn contamination. Rinse thoroughly, then apply Savage Soap as the second step to remove road film, grease, dirt, and general buildup.

What surfaces can Absolute be used on?

Absolute can be used on compatible surfaces including:

  • Alloy and chrome wheels
  • Stainless steel
  • Diamond plate
  • Aluminum fuel tanks and trailer skirting
  • Pontoon boats
  • Concrete equipment
  • Mixer trucks
  • Other compatible metal surfaces affected by brake dust, rust staining, oxidation, or hard-water deposits

Surface finishes and protective coatings vary. Always follow the product directions and test a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.

Do I need a pressure washer to use Absolute?

No. A garden hose can provide sufficient rinsing for many routine cleaning jobs.

A pressure washer can make rinsing faster and may improve results on heavy buildup, larger equipment, and commercial vehicles. Apply Absolute as directed, allow it to dwell briefly, and rinse thoroughly before it dries.

What sizes are available in Absolute?

Absolute is available in:

  • 16 oz
  • 32 oz
  • 1 gallon
  • 5 gallons
  • 55 gallons

Product availability may vary.

How long should Absolute remain on the surface?

Allow Absolute to dwell for approximately 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the severity of the buildup.

Do not allow the product to dry. Avoid applying it to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight, and rinse the treated area thoroughly after application.

Is Absolute made in the USA?

Yes. Absolute is manufactured in Yakima, Washington.
