We first started with the recommended 6 to 1 ratio. Didn't really touch the construction site mess on our truck. So then we went to 12 to 1, much better but I think if we upped it a bit more we wouldn't have to get the power washer a few inches away to rinse. We alo increased the time that step 1 stayed on before applying step 2. Overall it is a much cleaner truck.
